What is Lua?

Lua (pronounced as loo-ah) is a scripting language made by team at PUC-Rio (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro). It supports both produceral and object-oriented programming which makes it a very powerful tool. Lua is mostly used as common scripting engine for games, game engines and since not that long ago also in CS:GO cheats.

Scripts that are written in lua usually contain the file extension .lua. As several programms implement Lua-JIT (a Lua implementation with Just-In-Time features), scripts can also have .ljbc extension (this can be manually disabled). This feature is disabled in the ev0lve LUA API due to security reasons.
